Since there are more games available now I was wondering if anyone still plays the mods that were made (NIR, Cobexlaw, etc). If so, what ones look good and what should be avoided? Thanks.

I don't think anyone uses Nirproject games anymore. Nice idea but rather a lot of problems with most games and scenarios. I had the lot and played most of them so I know. I'd recommend you try the New Settings add-ons.

Andy is a specialist of the Nir Project but I don't share his point of view even I respect it. I continue to enjoy, sometimes to play the Nir Project's files. I like for example the Campaign of France files. For the moment I am playing Friedland and I enjoy it. Of course as Andy pointed out, all is not perfect in the Nir Project files.
It's true that I play more and more HPS' games. A good thing for Bill, Rich and the others [;)]

New settings just covers Eylau, NIR and Quatre Bras as I recall. It's just altering parameters to make those old Bg games more realistic and balanced.
