Napoleonic Wargame Club (NWC)

How can I do multiple installs of the same game on the same computer? I have Wagram installed and want to install it a second time to experiment with different tests and graphics etc. But the install program won't work if I already have one version installed. Surely I can have several installs of the same game on the same computer?? [?]

I have just copied and pasted the whole folder and renamed it. It seems to work fine - as long as you make sure any desktop shortcut points at the right place.

That is the best way, but this is the procedure.

1. Rename original game folder to a temporary name, like campaign wagram_temp.

2. Install second copy. It will install because you renamed the original.

3. Update the just installed second copy to the latest version.

4. Rename the NEW game folder to something like WAGRAM_TESTING.

5. Now, rename the ORIGINAL back to CAMPAIGN WAGRAM and all your current shortcuts are fine.

6. Make a NEW shortcut to your TEST folder and you are in business.
