It is with great pride and honor that Monsieur le Marechal Paco Palomo, with the blessings of his Majesty Napoleon, Emperor of
France and General Yann Lamezec, awards the following:

"For their steadfast service to La Grande Armee and his Majesty, The Emperor Napoleon, in the training of Cadets at L'Ecole Militaire General Ernie Sands of VI Corps L'Armee du Rhin and Colonel Jim Owczarski of I Corps L'Armee du Nord are hereby awarded Ordre de la Courunne en Fer with our heartiest thanks for a job well done."

The first round is on me and the Yann.

Gentlemen

Congratulations on the conferrance of the Courunne en fer, a just reward for such important duties at the Ecole Militaire.

Keep up the good work. I hope shortly to augment the number of training officers at the Ecole by proposing several from the III Corps, Armee du Nord to lend assistance.

As much as I would like to partake in such an honorable undertaking my gaming record does not bode well for any new recruits to learn from me.

Although, I am learning the difficult skill of patience in this game as my battle of Raab scenario is showing some prospects for better results than most of my matches.

I only have 1 Major victory to my battle honors opposed to multiple major defeats where I was throwing away horse and men like they were wooden marionettes.

It's true...

I believe my students would attest that at least once I've said:

"Now if the bugger is really crafty...sneaky even...he'll..."

And what follows is a retelling of something Gen. Moss has done to me.

I would also like to nominate Marshall Beecham for such an award. He also has kindly helped train newcomers - to the Anglo Allied Army in the absence of any of their own trainers willing to help. This is above and beyond the call of duty.
