It wasn't me, highest I went was command of II Corps for a time. Cut into my pursuit of the perfect alcoholic beverage so I had to give it up. However I can't remember who in the heck it was either. But then again I can't remember the name of my aide half the time either.

Lt. General Sir Mark Nelms K.G.

Was Ian Travers the one whose one parent died and he stepped down or was that another Ian?

Gen. Harris was a lil' before my time Bill, but I have read his writings....[:)]

A few days from now will mark 5 years in the Club for me....yeah I know you young wippersnapper...[:p][}:)]

Besides Steve Peluso, Pierre D. and myself who else is an original member? It would be interesting to see who is still around from the "old" days.

I believe I am the longest serving officer in the Anglo-Allied Army. But I joined in late December 1998, some 10 months after the founding of the club. If you want a little nostalgia have a look at some of the early club newsletters...

Yeah, I was just reading through some of them yesterday.

Chris Watties used to be the guy that did the newsletter. Remember some of the other fellows too!

If you do a 'member since' sort you can see all the members when they joined and the last post gives you info as to whether they are still active. I guess we fall in to the NWC Gronards category,10years, my God.

I was the first Alied CiC and Steve was the French CiC, a division of labour to get the ball rolling. I handed it over to Bill when he volunteered HeHe.

Colonel Pierre D.
