Secondly Stefan Reuter the <b>REAL</b> Prussian Commander...for allowing me to get involved with them and do what I do and run a muck of the place....
Now I will thank by army in no particular order or armies or people:
Geert Van Uythoven (for all his hard work) Jim Hall, Ken Jones, Mark Nelms, old commanders when I was in the AAA and played a few torunies w/some of you. Jon Graswich, who does an amazing job at the AAA, my sort of counterpart there. Andy Moss for his work over the years and his funny comments each time he forwards me a new Prussian recruit form, like today! [:D] Ed Blackburn, Danny Armenta, Bob Breen, some fine AAA officers. New guys Chas Dewar and Glenn Merrett....Again to Antony Barlow for some of his fun chats here as well...Dierk Walter, for playing me when he was a Frenchmen for almost 2 years I think...taught me a lot and a good guy.
The Russians...I will be honest, I hardly know any of you but...Anton Kosyanenko and Eugene Gulyaev for their works on Club leadership. Jean-Pierre Dasseville and Konstantin Koryakov for their good work at the Russians.
Now I am torn...who do I do next...the French or the Austrians....lol...[:D] Aw let's do the hippity hops....
Alright for all the Frenchies!! [:D] Starting at the top Yann Lamezec, good man. Stuart Wilson for many of his un noticed Club duties especially w/the forms....a big notice to John Corbin...you sir are a great opponent, 2 years on Wagram, a fine Club President and dare I say...the backbone of the French Armee....Dean Beecham and Doug Fuller...you guys have been a true delight to jest with. Greg Morgan you run a great website there...Jon Thayer....Mark Oakford...Angelo Abruzzese...Colin Knox (you owe me a game... [:p]) Paul Smith you are a great man. Paul Chavis, Pete Russo, Steve Edgar, Cliff Seeney (I promise my turn soon)...Marc Lanero..Drew Stone and Paco...you guys do a great job with the Ecole and Guard...John Mitchell, Jeff Bardon and Tomaz Nowacki...some fearsome names in the club that I have seen play first hand. Al Amos and Mario Ostojic. Sam Dodson...Christophe Boucheron, Christian Rizo...Tony Malone..Zbyszek Pietras...Pete Dawson...Dirk Smith for bringing the NIR Project to life. Joe Spinali...glad to see you back. Ernies Sands...Mark Oldfield...Devon Hill...Mike Ellwood...and Paul Wakeman...great job on the AdR and all your tips and help.
Now the Austrians...many good friends in that unit...many good jokes and just fun...the usual suspects...Phil Roubaud, Gary McClellan...and Jim Pfluecke....the not so usual suspects..Ola Berli...and Vladimir Komissarenko...Celemanka Noftz...new guy Thomas Scheitel....Tim Coakley and Stephane Chicouri for their many hard work to our genre....and to my doppleganger in the Austrians Aaron Burr...you always keep me on my toes with updates. I feel a special bond w/my Austrian brothers...mainly because our rivalry is so fun....you guys are ok...I'll admit it.
That leaves only 1 force left...you got it...the best of them all...PRUSSIA!!
First off Stefan Reuter....a truly generous commander. Simone Tombesi...you have been a great leader over the years. Andreas Naujoks...our bravest and most skilled commander and good friend. Clint Hill and Adrian Marcks two good folks. Ian Hames and Zach Bogue...an old stand by and a good new recruit...Yann Bosc...you are a great fighter....Mike Gjerde...our commander of many years....Robert Caldwell...I am sorry we have so many troubles with our games, you are a good gamer for sticking w/me...Harold Lajoie a great new officer...Robert Scholtz another old standby....Kirk Hutzel, Greg Colman and Karl von Werra...great older members...Mike Petro and Drex Ringbloom...two great new officers...Zac Durant and Sergio Doncel two fine junior officers...Ken Miller, Jerry Butley two fine new/returning officers of great caliber...Thomas Whitfield...our newest member today...welcome to our fine Armee...retried members...Bram Steijn, John O'Day, Martin Sabais, Steve Takacs, Eric Nick, Ernst Loebell for sharing his family Waterloo connection...Daniel Cohen, Troy Taylor...my very good friend Phil Bezard...our old friends Rob Hamper and Dallas Gavan for many of their reserach, histories and interviews...a unique thing to Prussia alone...to a few Prussians who came through our doors...that I failed w/due to real life issues and were not able to get them to stick w/us...I am sorry....
Prussia has been a great force to be with and you guys are awesome!! I am proud of each and every one of you...[:D]
Now a very special thanks some close friends of mine...who work with me in many clubs I am in...Raymond Bursch, Patric Strijbis, Armando Russo, Rick Motko, Steve Kitchen, Dale Lastowicka, Glyn Hargreaves, Tom Lachenmaier, Phil Chimara, Richy Duggan, Oliver Kreuels, Alan Hartwick, Garret Fitzgerald....you guys are great people and the lynchpin of many places....you truly make it worth it sometimes and give me a boost when I am down and a hand when I am swamped....
I also want to thank all my International Napoleonics Wargaming Club (INWC) friends here as well...you guys make that Club as fun as this Club...I hope this year and in the future we can have more Inter Club fun and Tournaments...lets face it...neither Club would exist without the other....almost half of the names mentioned above are current INWC or former INWC members....
Lastly...a very, very special thank you to the men behind all of this...Bill Peters and Rich Hamilton..also John Tiller for both the HPS and Battleground series...but especially Bill and Rich...whom I am delighted to have struck up a friendship with...and also consulted with on many things...and now the opprotunity to play test...[:D][:p] It is safe to say none of us would be here without you guys...please keep 'em coming....[:D][8D]
