What is everyone going to be doing this Summer?

I hope to get up to Montana to visit a couple of friends of mine.
Maybe one trip to California.

And a side trip up to Coeur d'Alaine while travelling to or from Montana.

Have a week off in July, doing some remodeling around the house for that one. In August wife and I are planning a trip to Virginia Beach with a stop off in Quantico, Va to see the Marine Corps Museum.

Taking the wife's uncle's ashes to Fort Sam Houston to be buried in the national cemetery there. Will probably have to go to the big outlet mall in San Marcos but in return I expect to eat at some good bbq joints and a stop at the War in the Pacific museum in Fredricksburg.

Mark - let us know if the War in the Pacific museum is worth the trip. I love museums on WW2.

Well, that didn't work.

I was GOING to say, I thought Mt Ruapehu was on the North Island of NZ. Never been there, but the south island has fantastic slopes. I've been there once. Mt Shut lived up to its name (three day blizzard - no skiing) but Treble Cone was just wonderful. No crowds and the slopes just got tougher and tougher. You can not get bored there.
