Helga I am most unhappy about having to push past that infernal horse out the front of the Tavern. Can you please ask Muddy to remove it.

Monsieur:

You can attempt to remove my horse from the door of the Tavern but I wouldn't try it without a good half keg of English Ale in a bucket.

Helga one bucket of shopkeepers ale to the front door please!
On my account, and also ale to the table for the Kings Field Marshall.

Ah! General Knox, so good to see a fellow cavalry officer at the bar. Helga, another round for the General and those two other fellows with the strange uniforms and funny hats![:D]

By the way, just exactly what is that thing tethered to the front door? I do swear that its drunk! Leaning against the verandah post like that, it can't be good for the post![:D]

Mr. Oakford, Sir. I beg to differ. My horse is not a drunkard. He knows his limits. Why after two buckets of ale, I rode him at Waterloo at the head of the Inniskillings. What a glorious charge -- he went over two hedgerows like they weren't even there. Then it was across the valley and up to the French cannon. After nibbling some grass, we turned in time to disrupt some French Lancers that were barring our way back to the Tavern. I mean, look at him, he's not leaning on the post, he's simply scratching his arse and trying to get the French poo off of his shoe. [;)]

They are probably giving your horse ale so he can produce some wine for Napoleon's mess. [:D]

General Oakford good to see you again sir.

As for you English officers I am surprised you know what wine is. Normally you unsophisticated English are busy at the dart board with gallons of your disgusting ale whilst we French sip our superb wine and eat the best food in the world [B)][:0][:D]

Helga! More drinks please, let me try this ale. Gulp Gulp Gulp. Hmmm it's not bad after all....

Jon,

My compliments to the artist, he fully captured the glorious insouciance of Sir Muddy and his trusty steed. [:D]
