Am involved with two custom scenarios, one an MP game of which we reported on earlier in the Tavern called Hide n Seek by Al Amos and a second called Scenario Designer Special, I believe by Rich Hamilton.

After just a couple of minor skirmish engagements I noticed (as the French) that I have 738 Cavalry casualties. Actual Cavalry casualties on the "strength" report show that about 150 have perished.

In the Hide n Seek game, I have also noticed some exceptionally high French Cavalry casualties.

Is anyone aware of a glitch in the scenarios or other files that may be causing the problem ?

Regards,

Well since they are French casualties I'd say they are probably dying of fright! [:p]

If you send the file to Rich he will help you out.

It is probably just me forgetting about casualties that have occured, there is just no way to calculate the damage years of eating Poutine can do to the mind.

Sorry to have credited Rich with the Designer's Special scenario, I thought he was the creator.

I would have just left it at that, except when I looked at the "strength" menu it did not seem to show as many casualties as the "Victory" page was showing.

I was only adding up casualties where the "Strength" indication was understrength; ie at less than 100%. The total was correct, but I could not find the individual units that had suffered losses that equaled the 738 as indicated on the Victory page.

Naturally, I assumed that the Austrian members of the club had figured out a way to multiply French Cavalry losses, without actually having to inflict them. [:p]

Havn`t expected something different from a frenchy. If no strategy works the game engine must be the problem [:D] ......
