Hi guys, I just joined this club after installing HPS's campaign Waterloo. I am originally a member of the Blitz wargaming club because of my PzC history, but this outfit seems far more active for Napoleonic games.

Can someone plz teach me the ropes? Btw, I am open for a game if anyone is interested!

greetz,

Aditia

What you need to do is click on the link "Home" that's at the top of this page, and then look for the Recruitment links from there, and you'll be able to join one of the Armies, get trained in the games and all of those things!

*Hint* White is in this year!

OK, I submitted as a cadet for the Anglo-Dutch army. Should I just play games and register them at the site to get some points in and get stuck into the community :) ?

Wait for the guys from the Anglo-Dutch army to get in touch with you, and they'll walk you through the process from here :)

Well, in the meanwhile I am playing a game against some Belgian guy. If he joins too, can we report our current game at the site?

Yes, if he joins you can - this club is different than either the Blitz or GameSquad though in that it is a bit more structured. So play your game(s) as much as you like, but you won't be able to report them until after you have completed your training. The training is helpful though as it gets you aquainted with the system much quicker than you would just playing a few games.

In the mean time, go to this page and scroll down to the Napoleonic section - you'll find numerous articles that will help you get rolling with this engine:

Welcome to the Anglo-Allied Army.

Major General Sir Bob Breen KT will see you through your training. Meanwhile you might look through the Anglo-Allied Army website to see if any particular unit command interests you.

I would ask you to encourage your current opponent to join the Anglo-Allied Army as well. The I Corps is composed of Dutch & Belgian units that he might find interesting.

FYI: Most units are linked to a regimental history web site which is quite interesting.

The top of each page is linked to the Koninklijke Militaire Academie which provides information on awards, ranks, and interesting articles.

Welcome aboard and down the French!
