Napoleonic Wargame Club (NWC)

Dear Friends,
I have a big problem that, I hope, someone can solve.
I would like to slow down the HPS Replay, possible step by step (or move by move…instead of being continuous).
I believe this feature is extremely important to learn how to face new situations on the battlefield.
At the moment I am playing a Wagram scenario but I think the same feature is useful in any HPS game.
Please, let me know if you have any suggestions.

If you deselect 'On Map Results' in the Settings Menu, then in pbem games the replay will stop after each unit fires or conducts melee, and will only continue after you close the combat result window each time. You can't interrupt movement though in the replay in pbem games. In games against the AI I think you also get an 'AI Action Dialog' interrupting the replay after each unit moves, but this doesn't happen in pbem games. Someone will correct me if I have missed something...

I have experienced that too. Sometimes I get a mixture - some units firing cause the replay to stop and I get the fire result window, but other units get the on map results and the replay doesn't stop. But I usually play with on map results so this has never troubled me much. I would suggest contacting technical support at HPS. They always do their best to help.
