There is an error on the large Jena map as it regards a major road and bridge crossing. The road leads to the town of Wachausen near hex 474,437. The Pike leads to this location from the small village of Kostitz, 529, 515.

The bridge/better road actually should have been put at Zeutsch hex 758,762. The road would become a PIKE and lead from this location to Possneck, hex 514, 527.

Question: is this that big of an issue that I should release a correct map? I may have to correct the campaign scenarios as well that would have troops on this road as well as put the bridge at the right location.

Problem: for games in progress this is going to mess them up if the guys update their game.

What do you think I should do? Leave it as is or make the correction for a future update? Again its going to mess up games in progress if they guys update. If they wait til the game is over or the troops have bypassed that area then it will not be a problem.

The main issue is that the road will be degraded to a ROAD while the new location would get the PIKE. The bridge would still be in the older location as this info is drawn from the .bte or .cpf file.

Any new games of course would use the new bridge and the newer road route.

Note: actually the road that is currently in use didnt exist as far as I can tell but I wouldnt want to remove it entirely for now. Perhaps later in a future update after this next one comes out (which would be near when we release our next game sometime in the future).

If possible I would like to see it done like Lt Col White said Corps moves and two different maps one for Corp movements and one for Div and reg moves. I say do it and games in play will just keep on till finish then up grade. Views from the down side of Tx Gator land [:D][8D]!
