<br />Sounds like Bill did some fine work with this new title. Too bad this title will involve those smelly Prussians, though. [:D]

Hi anyone who owns the new Jena game ... I'm interested in buying it, but I've a few questions before I shell out the cash.

1) Has the AI been improved compared with the older titles?

2) Has campaign encryption been included?

3) Has the the quality of the maps improved?

Cheers, conjotter

1. No. John did update the Panzer series AI and Rich and I are working on him to do the same for this series.

2. No. Probably wont see this. Just play with honest people.

3. YES! I added in alot of detail to this set of maps. Lots more farms, hedges, etc.

You will get more in this title than in any I have done yet. Tons of good maps and plenty of good stories to tell your grandkids.

Hi Bill ... Thanks for your response and your hard work.

As much as I'd like to buy Jena now, I'm going to wait until the game system AI is overhauled. While I own and have enjoyed many Tiller titles over the past decade, including Talonsoft games, I must say I haven't played one in quite some time because of the AI limitations. This isn't a criticism, it is just a fact that the AI engine is a decade old. And while playing by e-mail can be fun, it also takes a tremendous amount of time.
Please let the board know when such an AI upgrade is in the works.

Regards, conjotter

We will make an announcement as soon as we hear anything that would indicate that such an improvement is forthcoming.

Until then happy gaming!
