But Dominik, according to the membership date to the left side of your post, you have only been an NWC member for 9 Years and 356 Days....

This is wrong information, I think I have joined in 1999, but I didn't make it to the forum. My first recorded game is training with Rich Hamilton registered in January 2000. My last recorded "normal" game ended at some point in 2002. In 2004 I have managed to complete 3 games with a friend but they were custom scenarios. That's all - my gaming history in NWC is pretty short :(

I played one Waterloo campaign in 2008/2009 with another friend, but he was not part of NWC so that game was not registered. We managed to play to the evening of 15th June (82 turns), and he abandoned the game. I would love to continue that game to see what would happen. We were also playing a reversed game, but it was not advanced as much as the first (15 turns).

The date only applies to when a user joined this forum and not the club. There were other versions of the Rhine that predate this one. I think it had to be rebuilt after one of Frobisher's misadventures.

I can assure you that Dominik has been around that long. As I recall, he was in the IV reserve cavalerie corps back when I commanded that formation in the old Armee du Rhin, and that was about 12 years ago.

some of us started this club ... and if we knew that Mark Jones and Scott Ludwig were going to rampage the forum we probably would have started a club for Legos!

Hail the Chief! And Herr Riding Crop.

Yeah, Scott is bad, I readily admit that.... :P

Hey, Legos might work for a structural engineer too! I could probably do that. :o :o :o

Filed my enlistment papers at the end of '98 (got PTW and Waterloo for a birthday present and stumbled on the club through Mark Trowbridges web site) and got my formal commission in early '99.

Technically, that does not make me old though, just been around a while.

Older than the hills, Dominik!

Unfortunately, by Jeff's logic, the fact that I have been a member of the NWC for less than two years now does not make me young either.  :(

Yes Mark, odd how that works!

"Fairy tales, can come true, it could happen to you, if you're young at heart ..."

Climbing the old rank ladder again. Bound and determine to let Scott do all the admin work!

My first finished game was in November 1999, I started in the IIIrd Corps and always stayed there
