I just bought the Leipzig and try it .... surprise!, The 3D vision I can not see the infantry units of any army, I can only see the artillery and cavalry.

Someone can help me?.

What operating system are you using? Windows 7?

I use windows vista.

I use Win7 . its fine on mine. but vista you may have to do with what they have down on the HPS site about installing the games on Vista.

Hi, saw this and thought I'd mention my own issues with the game. I downloaded Leipzig, and I can see everything in the game except for when using the view box, no unit pictures or officer pictures are available. The unit bmp file exists in the unit folder. Everything else is fine. Tiller staff are unable to figure it out. I have the XP system. And none of my other HPS games have this issue. Some other players have tried to help but we are stumped. When I email them a scenario from my game they can see the units fine in their view box. It just seems to be a problem with mine.

Not sure if it's the same issue with what Jose is seeing, but I have XP and have seen the same issue as Todd. It happens when I have multiple windows open using different versions of Direct X (for example- a BG series game and Leipzig open at the same time will always mean I can not see the units or officer pictures in Leipzig).

I also use XP and have the same issue as Jeff, but it is never a problem if only one window is open. I do not know anything about the operation of the game on Vista.

Thanks for the follow up posts. I'm pretty sure I have only had my scenario window open, certainly no other game windows.
So, just to clarify - my view box will not show the unit picture, instead I see what looks like a faded French flag (colors there- of anyway) for the French units, and what seems to be an icon appearing as an eagle or iron cross sort a thing for the Allies. I've uninstalled/reinstalled, and still no difference.

At other times the graphics are missing artillery, and other times you see all the graphics, is very rare.

not to sure if this would do anything to help. but for the XP users . make sure you are up to date with the service packs.i think its 3 you need now. not to sure. been off XP for a year now .if thats not up to date you may not download all you need .. just a thought .

For Club Games: I prefer the Single Phase mode of play. I prefer to play with the following options OFF:

MDF, VP4LC, NRO, MTD, CMR, PR, MIM, NDM, OMR (ver 4.07)

If you haven't already I would look into weather or not your Direct x is up to date.

I have Win XP with a measly 1 Gig RAM and little video Ram. I had to reduce the 3D units files in the Map folder to unusability to get the units.bmp and leaders, and jump map to show. I only play in 2D anyway, so no big sacrifice.

Thanks Bill, I have written to Rick Hamilton explained the case, I have not been answered yet.
The directx are up to date, I do not think that's it.
when you know in the forum post images give you an example.
