I am new to the HPS/Tiller game engine (I'm an old Battleground guy)... I have already one game going against Bill Peters (which should be good training!)

I am enrolled in the French army, but would be happy to take either side at this early stage of my career.

Some respected players out there have suggested the following optional rules, of which I tend to agree with: Choose all boxes except for these 4:

1. MDF
2. No retreat overruns
3. Partial retreats
4. Multiple infantry melees

I'd be glad to give you a game. Did you have a specific scenario in mind? Not quite sure what you mean by 3/4?

Hi Mark,

I meant to say either the full 3 or 4 day battle of Leipzig. You have a preference of sides? Are you fine with the optional rules that I suggested?

Yeah, that occurred to me finally while laying in bed last night. I'll get you an email sent and we can discuss it further there. I'll be happy to take the Allies and let you fight with the French.
