Of the 3 members who voted against following the rules, only one answered. Thanks Andy.

Mark and Al thanks for your silence. As the saying goes... Silence is golden.

I still think that he couldn't remove the post from the cabinet, he only could resign from that post as Allied CiC.
If I remember the old rules correctly the Allied CiC is "just" the voice of the Allied Armies in the cabinet, so no "living environment" outside of the cabinet for the Allied CiC.
Besides that I wonder if he ever thought about consulting the Armies(at least their leaders) he represented on the cabinet if such a drastic move would be supported by them, I think in his mail he stated that he didn't have the men he represented behind him anymore and I guess he would have seen this already at the time he pulled it off if he had consulted them and maybe he would have thought twice about it or even approached the problem from a different angle.
I'm sure he did it for a good reason and but the way he pulled it off was simply not good at all.
Either start a revolt if you have the men behind you or stand to your post at the forefront of these men even if they walk a direction you don't approve, neither he did and we know the result.

Personally I would have preferred to let the Allies vote for a new Allied CiC so he could have taken up the work were the old bailed out just to have anything look correctly.

Anyhow all this seemed to be a totally new terrain and there were and are no rules how one can officially pull the emergency break, what I think has to be changed.

Gentlemen

It appears some French Officers have an opinion on whom our C in C should be.

For those Coalition officers who wish to participate in a relevant discussion in the correct Forum please try “The Coalition Arms” where they will discover a resolution is in hand.

For some reasons I can't get in, could you give me the Password (by email or pm)?

But then to be fair I said something here yesterday because Cliff seemed to be confused about the topic (my last participation before that was on 13 Feb 2014) and I don't consider talking to Cliff as talking to a wall of bricks

Ah dear sir, if you are addressing your question to me, I was merely quoting from David G's new addition to his signature.

I humbly suggest that you address your question of: So now you are calling other members stupid because they don't agree with you? to the possessor of the signature containing this phrase.

And I must say, I do agree with asking the question...

Regards,

no Todd, you are just trying to use a phrase in davids signature against him and trying to hide behind smiley faces in a snarkey way.

Gentleman

There is a man to respect "Lewis Carroll" now he was "snarky" :)
Sorry shouldn't use a smiley face although with my bulk I would find it hard to hide behind it.
By the way what was that book that Charles Dodgson wrote? This is only addressed to those Officers who may have a propensity to live there :D
Blast there goes another one.
