Bonjour Gentlemen, Russians and spaniards,

How about someone sets up a new tourney for everyone?!

Three tiered (Guards, General and Rookies) with the regular rules and procedures.

This should get us all past the unpleasantness and back into the joy and pleasure of Napoleonic death and/or glory!

And no smart arse suggestions of it being the Cabinet v the rest!!

The cabinet is entertaining that very idea and will look at your suggestions. We will update everyone on this issue as we move forward. Please let us know if anyone has any other ideas. We recently received information from another member also asking about another tournament . So if you have any other thoughts add them to this thread...

Battle On

Dear officers,

I also think that would be good to organize a new club tournament.

I would suggest not to divide the tournament into categories but, for example, the top eight or sixteen officers deploy (as in tennis tournaments) and other officers draw lots.

Because I think that even a beginner can learn something while playing with an experienced opponent and experienced officers will play together in the final rounds of the tournament.

Eliminated officers in the first round could then be included in the “Tournament of consolation”.

Each officer would have played at least two games.

This is just a suggestion.

Regards,

Major Petr Michalek
