Salute!

I'm happy to report a new officer has joined the ranks of the Tirailleurs et Dragons! :frenchvive:

Lieutenant David Andrews (14th Regt d'Ligne, IV Corps) has added his sword to my own in a MP battle vs the Spanish Brigade combat team.

This makes for 9 gallant members of our MP combat group, nearly all of whom are presently engaged in several MP battles each. :frenchcool1:

Welcome David to our brotherhood of eagles! :eagle:

Regards,

Our small group continues to grow, once again welcome Lieutenant Andrews.

I am sure all are welcome to join us for a drink.

"Although it is not my normal habit to agree with a Frenchman, it is my normal habit to join anyone for a drink. Congratulations on your induction into the Tirraileurs et Dragons, Andrew. Those officers are among the very finest in your army, and it is indeed a privalege to be inducted into their ranks. To your good health, Lieutenant!", declares the Coalition Army's Chief of Staff as he downs the first of what is certain to be many shots of Jagermeister yet to come.

:frenchdrunk: :frenchdrunk: :frenchdrunk:

Pausing to let the temporary paralysis of his vocal chords subside, the King's Guardsman continues, "I am sure my Spanish brothers will return your swords to you once you surrender."

I pray that when he, and yourself, are destroyed by the valiant Spanish Brigade and their forces of valor and bravery that stories of war are drawn from, that you will not want to change your vocation to Friar or Monk and live out your lives peacefully making tasty wines and speaking in chants.

Fashion consultants, oh yes! I always enjoyed looking at that red hat they wore for the Revolution that could also double as a thumbless mitten.

Salute!

Come now, you must admit you are very thankful for the delights of French pastries come break of fast and snack time (which is code for anytime).

And in the matter of the red cap, was not utilitarian a catchphrase of the glorious revolution?

Ah Helga, thank you for the cream puff... mmm... yes... mmm.

Regards,

As well they should be Marechal Purcell, although the pastime of 'hunting Hanoverians' could be construed as being synonomous with 'looking for trouble'.
