On behalf of the Continental Congress and the American people I would like to announce two promotions:

Dwight Conlan of the Eastern Department moves to Captain.

We have also received word that the Duc de Cope, has been named General de Brigade. The first on this side so named.

Nice work both, and hats off to Garry.

Way to go Dwight. My compliments Captain Sir!

As for my making general. Thanks Gentlemen. I can't believe the cabinet acted so fast. They are, at times, slow as molases in December <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

Gary, congratulations.

Sure sometimes the cabinet is slow as molases in December, and sometimes it runs as fast as sap in sping (or Brits in front of my armies) hehehehe....
