To any Hessian Hireling of the So Called King George III.
Any place, any time! Bring it on so you can be sent back to your master whimpering and spreading tales of woe about the terrible wrath of a valiant free people fighting for liberty! Send a courier on over and negotiate for your doom.

Dear Sir,

I resemble that remark. I would meet you on the battlefield to try out my new laser sights and new 20 round custom made clip on my jager rifle, but I might be already engaged with Mr. Visscher at Monmouth. But if things don't work out, I'll send a courier and maybe we could dance on the battlefield. Even though I don't have a bayonet on my rifle, my grenadiers would be more than happy to roast a few rebels over the fire with their bayonets. hehehe.

Cheers

I am presently half way through my training but have requested posting to a Hessian Regiment. I have reason to believe this request may be granted. If so I would be honoured to engage the forces of ungrateful revisionism on the field of honourable battle.

We need more Hessian scalps hanging from a pole at Nanih Waiya.

Now, one wonders just what breed these "Hessian dogs" would be.

Now, surely they can't be so large and fierce as a German Shepherd. Indeed, we must think of some other breed. Something more fitting of their martial reputation.

And of course, when we think of it that way, we really only have one choice. The Dachshund, the Hessian Wiener Dog

Would any of you trash talking rebels like to face me at Monmouth? I can only play one battle at a time (school ugh), so first come first serve I guess. Perhaps I can get the Linsing and Lengerke grenadiers in line to give them some bayonet practice courtesy of the rebels. So if anyone would feel free to send a courier (I promise I won't ambush him), it would be really cool.

Cheers,

Good grief, is King George (the mad/fat one) so hard up for men that he is employing young boys still at school?? (or letting German Princes hire them), now we know the measure of the tyranny against which we fight!!

By the way, welcome to the club Justin!! And we will try not to pick on you.. too much!

We have been notified that the Hessian Dogs have been seen, or what is more likely, smelled, dispoiling the fair land of New Jersey. The valiant sons of liberty are hastening to the village of Monmonth in order to free the ladies and children of that troubled land from the pestilance of King George's hirelings! Victory cannot be denied to those whose cause of liberty is both right and just!

Another, clearly professional, soldier by his manner of dress strides through the front door. His uniform is that of the Breyman Grenadiers, a Hessian.

"You will hear from me soon, Mr Hopper. As we speak my staff is drawing up plans for bringing battle to you ungrateful, Colonial, rustics."

"You Colonials have for a long time enjoyed the benefits of being a part of the greatest empire the world has ever seen. And you reward your Mother country with this open rebellion? Indeed!!"

"When the plans are complete, as I expect they will be before the morrow, my courier will deliver the invitation to your tent."

"Now bartender, a pilsiner if you please."

The comely barmaid, a true patriot, serves the gentleman with the amusing accent and outrageous outfit a spiked beer. He soon starts singing unrepeatable songs about squirrels and other small furry animals in between his boasts of defeating that valiant band of brothers! It is too much for those souls who are defending hearth and home from the transgressions of the barbaric enemy to bear! As the other patrons look on in disgust it is little noticed that a brave scout slips out the door bearing news to General Washington that yet another British offensive is about to get underway! Patriots to arms! The country calls! Victory will be assured!

I look forward to a good contest my good Herr Trog! Hooaahh!
