Gentlemen of the Crown! Hey you in the redcoats! Yeah you! Come here a minute.

Okay, okay, .... please may I have a moment of your time. I would like a little help.

Private Marka Vickentiy Miczkevich, commander of the 1st US Rifles 1812R Dept. is looking for an opponent.

He lives in Minks, Belorus. He speaks Russian and very broken English. Teaches Economics and chose to be in my department so obviously he's a bright guy . hehehe...

He would very much like to get a game going.

Here is the optional rules he would like to use:

Manual defensive fire (!important!)
Quality fire modifiers
Victory points for Leaders Casualties
Rifle fire effects
Quality melee modifiers
Isolations rules
Automated defensive fire
Flank morale modifiers
Line movement disraptions
Weak zone of control

(I explained to him that Rifle Effects wasn't real popular .)

Oh yeah ... he only has War of 1812.

So how 'bout it guys? Anybody want to match his demand curve with their supply curve? hehehe.... that almost sounds weird .

Thanks!

Al,

you forgot the part about him having fought the Russians:

(this letter came with his sign up form)

"Marka Vickentiy Miczkevich by a nickname Zabrannik (there were many people with surname Miczkevich, and them distinguished by nicknames) was born in 1770. In 1970 he has managed to redeem the patent of the second lieutenant in The Seventh regiment created on base Garodnesky's battalion of the Great Lithuanian princedom, and has dressed a brand new dark blue uniform with officer distinctions: epaulette on the left shoulder, an officer belt and Czimlyak on a sabre.

In 1792 he participated in fight near Brest. In 1794 he participated in revolt in Vilno. Then his seventh regiment participated in fights near Sola against Russian armies under command of general Bennigsen. Zabrannik was distinguished and has received a grade first lieutenant. In August he battled in fights for the defense of Vilno.

Stafana Grabouskago's corps into which entered 7-th regiment, after numerous fights has got in a trap at Sola under Sluczk in the begining of November of 1794 and was completely crushed. The rests receded to Warsaw. After route in the regiment there is no more than 400 person. Zabrannik has received a grade of the captain and there were the commander of company.

November, 4, 1794 his regiment participated in defense of Prague. He was one of few officers who have survived in this terrible Prague slaughter, organized by Suvorov where was lost from above 90% of defenders of this Warsaw suburb. Somehow having escaped in hand-to-hand fight, he managed to cross through the river and to be covered on the other coast. The next morning people of Warshaw, frightened with the Prague slaughter, have handed over city, and revolt was finished.

His estate have confiscated, relatives were lost, and Zabrannik has decided to immigrate to America."

After all that, taking on the Canucks and some Redcoats can't be too hard. Certainly has the snow angle down....

I'll fire up a game with him. The options are fine with me. I'll play Chippewa. I have sent him the file.
