Sir <salute>,

I have just returned from a long voyage to USA (truly the British Colonies in revolt) and noticed no ranks show for our British Army when looking at ribbons and scores.

I may only be a <font color="red"><b>Regular</b></font id="red">, but I need to know who to salute!

Cheers,

In an effort to spend a little less time shuffling papers and hunkering down behind an administrative desk, I eliminated the ranks on the Wing and Department pages. I'm amazed anyone noticed! [:p]

You can however find everyone's rank on the Actives List Sir, which is the main page to view Brit info. I can replace the ranks on the Wing/Dept pages....if you bring me the scalp of McClellan. [xx(] Seriously, if you want them back I can do that.

Well, the RNAC officers and NCO's still have their ranks ... and some fine insignia too. [:p]

And all RNAC officers' ranks are on the main Actives List too. [:p] ALL British members are on this list, though Dierk's site does have more RNAC details.

Well, you know, we don't <i>entirely </i> trust you 1776 guys ... you either are grey old men by now, or outright dead. [:D]

Sir, <salute>

To keep the admin down, couldn't you make a separate column for rank (before name) and have it populated based on points.

I believe the table is set:
Officer Rank Minimum Points required
Field Marshall (British)* 3000 pts
General of the Army (Continental)* 3000 pts
Lt General* 1800 pts
Major General* 1200 pts
Brigadier General* 800 pts
Colonel 600 pts
Lieutenant Colonel 400 pts
Major 240 pts
Captain 180 pts
Lieutenant 120 pts
Ensign 60 pts
Sergeant 40 pts
Corporal 20 pts
Private or Regular 0 pts

Cheers,

Request granted Sir, it's not that much work. I'll replace ranks on all Wing and Dept. pages. Thanks for the input!
