I first would like to say that this is in no way representing a challenge, I am not looking for a fight (so you do not need to wipe any sweat off of your farheads).[:D]This message is more informational, as you may or may not know New York is rich in history, last Oct. was the 225th anaversry of the battle of Saratoga which was in three parts:
1.The encampment (which was interesting)
2.The Battle (which was really FANTASTIC!)
3.The surrender and march to captivity (the english)

I attended all three events (it was fantastic! if you never have attended one of these things before you are really missing out!)

I was up at the battl field (living just a few miles from it) this past weekend (the weather finally was good decent) there where some reenactors there and they told me during the month of May and June they will be reenacting some of the French & Indian War battles up at Fort Ticondaroga.

I just thought to share this piece of info with all of you, have a great week![8D]

You may rejoin, at any time.

The Hessian unit you had is still open, just fill out the joinup form. You may participate in the Training program, which is essentially one short scenario and you end up with 20 points and a corporal. If you want to forego the training, you start as a regular.

We will look for your report.

I was in Saratoga a year or so ago and spent a day on the battle field. It is a very nice, well preserved site.

I'll be at Ft Ti second weekend in May. Hope there's something doing. My son is 13 and has never seen the masterpiece of a fortress, so off we go. My wife thinks there are outlet stores nearby.........
