Sirs, I have room for one adversary in a Campaign match of the French and Indian campaign. I can do 2 files a week sometimes more. If interested send a courier. First come first serve.

Sir, I have sent a courier off to your HQ. I guess I can play the French. This war and the changing of armies around has made things a little differnt than usual. As a loyal American, and a Jacobite at heart. I find it would be difficult to play the side of that Fat wannabe German King, who uspered the throne from the true King over the water. Playing the French in this I can imagine myself one of those Brave Wild Geese, the Irish who found a way to continue the fight for freedom. So my pipes are a playing and we are a marching.

As long as the players are from two different club armies, it is counted as a battle. So either of you can be French ... unless one of you just can't stand the French. [;)]

As you keep repeating that phrase <i>ad nauseam</i>, I think I have to quote what a wise man [;)] said a year ago about it:

BTW just for my historical curiosity, was George II <i>really</i> fat? He looks quite well-built on the pictures I have seen. [8)]

It seems I fight on the side of the French(As I do in the NWC). And as Mr. Conery said in the movie 'The Longest Day' "It yakes an Irishman to play the Pipes" [;)]

Ah, my good Colonel Cox, but this is the successor, George III - his father, who ruled during most of the F&I War, was a great warrior and in perfect shape, the last British monarch to actually lead his armies in the field. [^]

Either opponent can play the French and either may play the British. In this way, it is still a battle and not a maneuver.

I believe the good lieutenant (as opposed to the Bad Lieutenant) inability to be French is based on personal and moral obejections. (Unlike Harvey Keitel who played both sides of the Mets/Dodgers 88 (?) NLCS series and lost.)
