"THESE are the times that try men's souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods; and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as FREEDOM should not be highly rated. Britain, with an army to enforce her tyranny, has declared that she has a right (not only to TAX) but "to BIND us in ALL CASES WHATSOEVER," and if being bound in that manner, is not slavery, then is there not such a thing as slavery upon earth. Even the expression is impious; for so unlimited a power can belong only to God."

The window of opportunity to come over to the American Army is slipping away. Act NOW and join in the fight for freedom! French Huguenots - escape religious persecution by the papist regime of Louis! Down trodden Scots & Irish in British service - remember the centuries of violence and treachery at the hands of the British and their FOREIGN king! British subjects - find a home as an equal among equals where the vision of the Magna Carta rings true! Indians - .......... uhhhhh...ummm... get with the program now and secure your place in history! (though you are pretty much damned if you do damned if you don't) Hessians - better pay and your own piece of land! Your king sold your soul once, now sell it for your own profit! Tories - it's better than TAR & FEATHERING!

Bounties gladly paid next Tuesday.

Also for the American Army, I am looking for an assistant to help out with some of the admin work for the army. Any American officer willing to help out in any manner what so ever, please send a courier to Philadelphia at your earliest convenience. Bounty and confiscated Tory land awaits!

Ah, I didn't realize this cuts both ways ... I thought the Frogs and Injuns were allowed to woo our officers away from us, but not the other way round! [:0]

I will immediately put a proclamation on paper and have our loyal printers do overtime to have it on all walls in the colonies tomorrow at dawn! [:p]

It's not the repition I am opposed to but the contents (in the "fat German wannabe King" case that is). A good quote cannot be heard often enough. [8D]
