Gentlemen, it with much sadness to announce that I am stepping down as Colonial/US CinC and from the CCC, I will be leaving you in the very capable hands of Michael Cox who becomes the new CinC. It is time for a 'changing of the guard', and due to personal and work reasons this means that I do not have the time to commit which this fine club needs.

I would like to thank you all for your efforts within the club, it has been a distinct honour to command and serve - my particular thanks to the many British opponents for their games over the years, (you know who you are guys!) and especially to the officers of the Colonial/US army (and prior French Dept) - you have fought proud and well, and I am sure you will continue this tradition with Mike - fight the good fight!!

My warmest regards and wishes to you all.

David

David,

Thank you for everything you have done for the club [:)] I know that when I took over the Northern Department last year how much help you were.

The Northern Department will always be able to find an honor guard for you [:D]

Thanks David for your long service to the club. As a former CiC it was a pleasure working with you, as a regular member it was a joy to play against you, and I wish you the very best in everything Sir. I'm really sorry to hear about your departure, but am glad that the Colonial reins are being handed over to Mike and I'm sure the transition will be a smooth one.

Good luck and best wishes David...salute from the 1st!
Phil

David,
It's been a real pleasure to have been associated with you in the cabinet. Thank you for the games. I hope this will give you more opportunity to engage us on the field of honor more often. Take it easy.
Good luck.

Thanks for your work for the club, David. I think in my two years in the club I have never known another Colonial C-in-C ... really a changing of the guard! [:)]

Mike - good luck. You'll need it. [:D]
