Gary,

I lived in Los Colinas (Dallas) for 4 years, loved the town, the sports and the people, but as an Indian (player), why would I love the Cowboys?

I always was an Ice hockey fan, and the year I moved to Dallas my favorite team, Minnesota North Stars moved to Dallas also! I love the Dallas Stars!!!!!

And after living there, I can see why the rest of the country hates Cowboys. So full of themselves (especially the owner!) And when I changed jobs, to Washington D.C., I just loved it when the Redskins kicked the crap out of Dallas. And my favorite coach, Steve Spurrier left my beloved Gators and now coaches Redskins.

So, Cowboys are just not going to get there.

Dierk,
Um, actually, I've known Bill for a long time, and he actually sent me some of his homemade pepper relish a year or so ago.. and his chili is running joke between us. Believe me, Biological warfare is very much something Bill would do [:p]

Paul,

Yep, I knew that. I've been a Chiefs fan since 1968.

My wife gets quite annoyed with me, because everytime we travel back to the States I seem to always be in a city where Dallas Stars are playing and I get tickets and we go. Nothing better than an Ice Hockey game.

Lots of sports withdrawal being in Down Under. Damn Footy (Australian Rules Football) is a cross between soccer and touch Football in the 1930's. Looks like a bunch woosies running around. I keep telling my friends, if they would just put on some helmets we could see a real game!

You get sent to the tribunal if you strike another play. (half the time by accident) The only sport I like is cricket as you get to go all day. Actually quite entertaining, especially with good batsmen.

Thank goodness for the internet!

I've played cricket and stool ball, an earlier variant at re-enactments. Our 64th has an ongoing contest with the King's Royal Regt. The last time I played was at Ft. Niagara. We beat them 24 to nothing, mainly because it grew too dark, and they were never able to get their ups. I just missed hitting the ball through a second floor window of the castle. That would have probably put an end to any more games inside the fort. [:D]
