Following an initiative launched by Lord Natta, and after evaluating virtually hundreds of good name suggestions brought forward by our esteemed officers, the old and venerable British Army venue, Fort Ticonderoga, has been renamed

<font color="yellow"><b>"The Generous Briton" Ale House </b></font id="yellow">

All British officers are welcome to have some ale on my tab. [^]

The British Armies in America hereby officially deny that Lord Natta's title is likewise changed to Lord Natta The Generous Briton. [:p]

Gentlemen, a toast. Cheers for the new <font color="red"><b>Generous Briton Ale House</b></font id="red"> just reopened down the road! A fine olde English pub moniker whose irony will surely be lost on our under developed American/French/Indian cousins. [|)]

Now what's that quaint little phrase that's etched on all the tables in here?? Right!...Fear the Taxes and Pay Your King, or is that <font color="yellow">Fear the King and Pay Your Taxes</font id="yellow">? [8][:(][8] [:p]

Chief Reed don't you have a nasty stinking wet bison skin tent to slink home to, or perhaps some berries and pumpkins to pick? I swear, the envy that these heathens can muster up is bloody amazing! [:0] By the by Jasper, while I did readily concur with the choice of the new name, unfortunately I cannot claim it's origin as mine. [:p]

And where is Mr. Hipkins? Did he sucker you into another trade of gold stone for beads again Chief? [B)]

Well, as far as bison go. We ain't got em in Alabama, and I dont know why Gen Sands is laughing cause he wouldnt know a bison from a porcupine if it slapped him on the ass.
Now back to this naming of your new watering hole. Was an edict issued? that's the way these things are usually handled in the British army are they not?...wait a minute..don't tell me.. you voted..great googgily moogily and goodnight nurse, the Brits are going Colonial on us. Now I'm off to fetch some deerskins, my roof is leaking again..[:D]

Of course we didn't <u>vote</u>. [:0] We don't elect our officers either. [}:)]

Some input was solicited though ... you can't let the incredible potential of knowledge and creativity assembled in this army sit idle. [8D]

BTW this is one of the "real" Generous Briton pubs, this here is in Costock in Nottinghamshire.

I have taken the liberty of declaring this one the official drawing of our new British Army venue. [8D]
