Welcome Sir! Though you have chosen to serve a tyrannical king, I will buy you a drink in this tavern, to salute your impending death on the battle field.

Another poor misguided soul who merely follows orders and does not think for himself, for if he was a thinking man, he would not fight on the side of tyranny,

"Leer at the King and Nay to taxes"

Now I am of course wondering, is a Pvt. Bain not destined to win the Order of the Bath eventually? Seems we have to expect a lot of this new recruit. [8D]

Sir,

Welcome to the side of duty and devotion. Before long you'll be up to your boot straps in rebel riff raff. No worries though as they are quickly dealt with by applying the bayonet! [;)]

Best wishes,

A fine unit, the 65th Regiment of Foot.

Welcome Private Bain to the Left Wing of British Forces in North America.

You are destined to be the BANE of the perfumed French, Wretched Indians and the loathsome Colonials.[^]

Corporal Wilson,

Tar & Feathers on the way to your location with a shipment of Rum as well for the men. Stole it from a British supply train! I have sent a courier to the young foolish [:o)] redcoat private as he has laid down a challenge! I await to see if he will brave the road back from Concord to Boston. [:D]

When you get a moment check out my 'purple heart' posting form a few days back.

lobsters don't scream when you put them in a boiling pot of water it is just steam escaping from their shells!
