I have played several scenarios where the only objectives are exit hexes. My understanding is the objective is to get as many of your troops out of harms way and exit by these hexes. Yet on several scenarios either playing by e-mail or experimenting against the AI ~ I have brought my troops to these hexes and received no victory points for these troops. Am I missing something? Is there a magic combination lock you must overcome to get off the board and earn the victory points? Does anyone know?

You have to actually *exit* them by selecting "remove from map" in "command" menu. [:)]

Ah!! Thank you Sir! The light finally comes on!

I'm going to have to challenge Corporal Trigg to a rematch now. I got my cavalry over to the edge of the map at Beaver Dams but didn't know the secret combo so I had to settle for a draw.[:(]

Shall not make that mistake again![:D]

If you had all your guys sitting on the victory hex and just were not able to remove them because you didn't know how, I should be surprised if Corporal Trigg wouldn't agree to manually adding/subtracting (depending on who's first side) their value from the VP total. [:)]

No need for that Dierk, I'm not sure I had enough points (it was close) he played a very good first game and I am satisfied with the draw. I'll just have to play him again and see if I can improve. He showed some talent at Injun fightin'!
