Having acted the 'horse's ass' in a similiar situation in which I flew off the handle bearing a cornicopia of accusations because of their checkers game play style, I would recommend not lingering on it. Take the option not mentioned yet ... EARLY TERMINATION BID ... and then don't play against the person again.

Both of you can then happily co-exist within the club playing against like-minded opponents, and who knows by doing this you may find in a year or two, or with the proper medication[;)], you will be more open to the notion that each individual has the freedom to select their own play style.

As Al says - time heals all wounds. Al and I (if you can possibly imagine this) were bold warriors long ago doing daring deeds of typing doing against each other on these very boards.

I finally accused him of being a deadbeat - he said I cheated the IRS annually, we both fell on the floor laughing, and we are back to being friends again!

See, its easy once you get the hang of it!

Ok Al, get your lousy hands off of the map editor. No more making up new maps until you take your family for ice cream (in the middle of winter no less)! Oh, and no pickle on my Quarter Pounder please.

This is exactly what has happened. There have been apologies all around and things have gotten back to normal with little ill feeling. In fact, I think things might be a bit more clear now about the use of certain tactics in the club.

Although I did this in the body of my first post, I will apologize again for any hurt feelings that I might have caused in my anger and frustration. Clearer heads have prevailed to give us an informative and well needed discussion of tactics and rules in the CCC. My thanks to Dierk, Bill,Brett, and all of the other players who contributed.

The matter is now officially (and unofficially) closed. My thanks for everyone's forbearance on this issue.
