Ok - this silly post is meant to liven up the joint, make someone's day if you are down, etc.

I had to go to the dentist today to have some work done on my teeth (yes, that is usually why you go to a dentist). The doc took my temporary crown off and permanently crowned me! (and I paid 500 bucks to be crowned too!)

Thus on this day, December 30th, 2003, King William IV of Normandy was crowned king of France, Normandy, Burgandy and all of Canada. Anyone wishing to dispute that last point please line up and fight! FIW game wanted. Still looking for opponents. Can also play a 1776 French scenario if you like. Or one of those nice continental affairs that have been making the rounds.

Thus instead of a foot in my mouth I now have a crown - doenst fit as well I must admit (lay it on guys - I am in a charitable mood!)

Would any of those horsefaces across the Dogbone Channel care to mix it up? How about some of you spoon-fed Continentals? Has mummy cut the apron strings yet? I never have to ask for a fight from the Indians - they are ALWAYS ready to come out and brawl.

Hey, it wasnt my idea! The doc put the crown on! The rest is history.

Now where are the thieving British at? Indians? Americans?

This calls for a real celebration! I have a crown!
