Colonial Campaigns Club (CCC)

Ok - lets imagine that HPS went out of business today - perish the thought - but lets say that there were not going to be any more HPS titles for this club. What would be your response as it pertains to the club:

1. I would still remain a club member because of the friends I have made here.
2. I would still remain a club member because I believe that the three games we have give me plenty of action.
3. I would still remain in the club because I like to belong to a group that is interested in the history of this period.
4. I would probably drop from the club after my interest in the period waned. Without new titles I would lose interest in the old ones.
5. I would probably drop from the club after a few years of playing. I am still interested in the period whether it be for historical purposes or for meeting new friends but I probably would want to move on after some time has gone by. I would still drop in and say hi.
6. I would probably drop from the club after a few years of playing even if a new title came along. If the game engine, graphics or some other issue I have with the game engine isnt fixed/wasnt updated to be I would lose interest in the game.
7. OTHER - you list your reason for staying or going.
8. I would consider staying in the club if some other game series was added. (dont construe this as a rush on the Cabinet - its just that some members in clubs lose interest when the game list gets stagnant)

Question: If you chose above to leave the club either immediately or a few years after no new games were released or you lost interest ... would you probably rejoin the club later or not come back at all? Yes or No. This question is only for folks that chose #4-7.

I am doing a study on why gamers stay or leave clubs. Whether it is based on new titles being developed or whether it is because they like to play regardless of the titles available and so on. It helps me better understand the dynamics of a game club. I am doing this survey in all of the clubs. It might prove to be rather interesting to club admin folks or anyone that has an interest in the migration of club members around the internet.

Note: this is NOT an HPS poll. It really has more to do with the reasons why club members are here at all and why they leave.
