Gentlemen, I have the pleasure to announce that, on behalf of the Continental Congress, and on recommendation of the club cabinet, the Colonial Commmander-in-Chief, Maj. General Lucas Kling, has seen fit to bestow upon his predecessor, and now commander of the Grand Army, <b><font color="yellow">Brig. General Michael Cox</font id="yellow"></b>, in recognition of the outstanding services he has rendered the club and his army, the highest decoration this club can award, the <b><font color="yellow">Order of Franklin</font id="yellow"></b>.
