I hope it's ok to post this, if there are any objections I'll remove it.

Just couldn't bring myself to title this "Garage Sale". [:)] It's time to cast off some stuff that I've accumulated, like antique toy soldiers, wargames, game magazines and such. The Lady of the manor says she's "tired of walking through aisles of antiquities to get to the bathroom or anywhere else". [:p][:D] I've already sold a ton of stuff on Ebay but have just touched the tip of my collecting iceberg and will be selling things off for a month or so. I'm guessing we have some board wargame collectors in the CCC so I thought I'd invite them into the action. There's going to be some hard to find items coming up soon if you're a collector.

You can do an Ebay search by seller and type in "pnatta" as my ID and see what's available, and remember...bid high, and bid often! [;)]

Howdy Phil,

If you can't seem to sale all, I can post a post at the Wargame.ch Market I set up in May!

"Going once, going twice, .... ONE POODLE SOLD TO THE GENTLEMAN KNOWN AS ERNIE SANDS!"
"Dont forget to feed her often!"
"Sure," says Ernie, "Now where did that coupon for the kennel go ... ?"
------------------
Phil, I just noted that you have Empires of the Middle Ages by SPI on sale. You will definitely get a high price on that one. I have tried to bag is some 10 other times and it always goes for over 100 USD no matter what condition! Truly remarkable.
Did you ever play the game? I always liked it. I have given up on trying to get a copy. I really think that a friend of mine has it and I could get a copy of the rules if I ever wanted to play it.

Phil and poodle - ok, my bad as they say! Nice doggie! Er, not on the shoe again please!
My cat, Casper (Sam and Gary know Casper) and I challenge you to a game of 1812. It will either be a feline fenom or a canine massacre. Let me know if you can squeeze in a fun match there matey - (editing starts here) something short too - like 12 - 16 turns (or thereabouts).

Signed,
Bill10572

Phil - Saw that my bid passed your Reserve price for Empires of the Middle Ages. Game pics helped push me over. At first I dont think you had the pics up did you? Anyway, maybe I will win then maybe I wont!

Now, you do realize that this is of course Sir Natta's attempt to destroy this club! Is there anything that will drive a pack of seemingly content wargamers into an utter frizzy than a choice selection of wargames and magazines for them to fight over! I imagine that this very moment, he is sitting in his manor house, just gleefully imaganing the chaos that will come forth as his "clubmates" go into bloody combat for that rare issue of Fire and Movement! [:o)]

Oh, by the way, anyone who bids on 1776 will answer to me [:p]

(and if you don't realize I'm joking, you don't know me very well [:)])

Phil, you tax our patience all the time [}:)]

On another note, to go slightly off of Phil's sale (which is presumably to paythe fee for that promotion he just got.. gotta love the British!), if anyone were to buy this baby http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... ame=MERC00 (or if you already have it) email me, and lets see if we can get some kind of a pbem going. I've only ever been able to solitare it, but always liked it.

Phil - "He tried, but he couldnt do it, noone can eat just one" (bet you cant name the product that that jingle was written for!) my bid of 120.00 was outbid by 2 dollars. I was away when the auction was ending and thus the game went for a measely 122 and some change!!! SAD!
I have bid on this game now 10 times and each time the price goes sky high. Your copy fit in the top 10 for condition. I saw one that had some expansion materials. Again, I lost that auction too! Must have been snoring in front of the tube!
Enjoy the profits and hope to get that game sometime for 50 bucks!

Actually I am a sniper of my own - I like the game so much that I tend to push the price up for some other bloke to pay. Wouldnt want a classic to go for 50 quid now would we?
Dont feel bad on my account - I may decide not to buy it after all. You might do like one guy does - he demands that all bidders put in their INITIAL BID 10 mins prior to the closing time. He wont admit their bid otherwise.
Helps the handicapped folks like me to stay up on the bidding!! [:0]
Actually I almost always use Proxy Bidding now as I dont have time to SNIPE anymore!![:D]
And yes, your last answer was correct! The Kings Korn Chips were the right answer. Made of lead and taxed when received! "Oh my arm!" said the wounded American private. "C'mon lad, the tax collector will see you first and then we shall see about a bandaid or two."

Ok Gary - pay Mr. Natta his taxes please! Yes, that's right, load the tea into the cannon. Yes, very good, pull on the cord - BOOM! There you go Sir Phil and poodle - the taxes in tea for all of those lead balls you shot at Gary!
End of exercise!
I'm surprised Ebay allows that guy you mentioned to cancel all bids till within 10 minutes of closing. I got a mild reprimand for cancelling one bidder who had no Ebay history at all except for 3 cancelled bids within one week

Sounds like that guy does not cancell the last-second-bid put simply ignores it! The result must be an interesseting profile [:0][:D][8D]
