"Rochambeau and Washington" - by Don TroianiSecretary of War & Général-en-chef de l'Armée de Terre Royale Maréchal Le Prince du Garry Copé, OoL <Salute>,
Garry,
I'm sorry to hear you're having some major issues, though glad it isn't related to the current pandemic. I'm sure I speak for many in the Club that your service to the members here is second to none! You've served as the French Général-en-chef since August of 2012 and you've been the Club's Secretary of War since 2001. That task alone of handling all of the records for the Club is a gift that we the members can never thank you enough for! Every member's complete records are in the Club Archive. You've also served on the staff at the Training Center since 2006 and have done more recruit training than any other member. Your system for training new officers is outstanding! The advice, guidance, suggestions & support you have given on the Club Staff has always helped to keep things moving forward.
Also, it is always great to play a game with you! You're a fun opponent, always great to chat with during file exchanges and your battlefield prowess is legendary! You're always willing though to give game tips & advice to your opponents no matter how long they've been members for. You did that for me a couple of times & I've always appreciated it. It's another reason why you are always a true leader in the Club.
You'll be missed for sure and feel free to stop back anytime to say hi! We'll have your seat in the Tavern waiting for you!
Thanks for everything Garry & we're all wishing you the best!
