With all the furloughs, the post has been running a bit slow of late. In any event, I am pleased to announce the following promotions in the Amertican and French armies:

l'Armée de Terre Royale:
Thomas Wieck, Commandant, to Major
Brett Schulte, Royal Deux Ponts, to Lieutenant
Tom Boyce, Regiment de Foix,to Corporal

Eastern Department
Rob Windham, 4th Reg., 3rd Brigade, to Sergeant

Northern Department
Gene Nix, Swamp Fox Legion, to Ensign

1812 Regular Army
Gary McCellan, 36th Infantry, to Corporal
Scott Cameron, 16th Infantry, to Ensign

Nice work all, keep it up during the coming campaign season.

Cpt. Cox
Aide du Camp, Colonial
1st Hunterdon County Regiment
New Jersey Militia

No less than five recent opponents of mine among those seven ... seems I am contributing my part to the promotions in the Yankee Rebel army. Well, Thomas, Tom, Bud, Gary, and Scott - though you are still on the wrong side, congrats!!
