I am playing Monmouth, as the Americans. In this scenario, I tried to preserve as much of the forces as possible and fought a withdrawl, leaving NO Americans within range of the British. I was hoping my opponent would eagerly move through the tree lines and have all the British force off the cleared areas and easier prey. I had several nice traps set, but he didn't fall for it, at all!!<img src=icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle>
Right now, the bulk of the American troops are attacking the British along the entire British line. I think I have a decent chance of turning his left and penetrating the center, if I can pump those new troops into the line.
Actual casualities are relatively low, because of the American withdrawl: American=1338 and 10 leaders; British=801 and 1 leader. The Americans hold the center objective. We are in turn 35 of 48!!
