We had a veritable, (or is that virtual?) flood of recruits in June... an all time high of 10. We are now beginning to see the results. We have two more recruits assigned to the American army as of today. Please welcome:

and

Jim Johnson

Aw lets make it more than official! Congrats to Rob Schwarz for giving a good showing in his training game(s). We played Guilford Courthouse and got to a point and then switched sides and restarted at turn 3 using the file from the first game. Sped things up a bit. We are now at turn 14 of the second game and Rob is near a Minor Victory. I have some cav trapped (at least I did this morning!) but Rob is pressing at my heels. I am the Americans in this second game and have pulled back from the main line giving up all objectives while dishing out more losses to offset their loss.
This one will come down to the last turn.

Maj. Bill Peters, Morgan's Rifles, American Army
Commander of French Dept.

Soldiers of the Continental Army,

Thanks for the hearty welcome. It appears that my first official battle is about to begin. Frankly, I'm wondering how I'll respond my first time under fire but, I guess there's only one way to know. Here's to sending those blasted Redcoats back to the Isles!
