If you have have always had a secret desire to teach, a golden opportunity now presents itself. The CCC has need of some more trainers for recruits. Qualifications include a good understanding of file zipping, transfering, and a good grasp of tactics and game play using the 1776/1812 game engine. It would help if you had both games, but if you only have one, we can still use your talents. You will get paid for each recruit trained as well as a nominal "retainer" per month even when not training. Apply to me. Thanks.

Can ex-cons apply or do you need to have a clean rap sheet? If it's ok with King Ernie, put me down.

Scott,

As long as you don't teach them to replace the background music with a track of Billy Idol's 'Dancing with myself', I don't see why you couldn't .

As long as you don't train Brits to join the Yanks, neither could I.

White Wedding is the best!!

I have one of his tapes. I like it. He has a good voice. Can't say i condone his lifestyle, however or all his lyrics.

Listened to WHAM a bunch back then (unfortunately song titles escape me ... a lot of my memory escapes me lately ), George Michaels was better in the duo than out.

Speaking of duos how about Hall and Oates? Good songs there.

Miss the old songs.

Speaking of Wham, I think they were the best thing to come from England since, well ever. Man, could they write. Pure lyric poetry. Lyrics like "Wham, Bam, I am a Man", and "Wake me up, before you Go - Go".

They just don't write like that any more.

My thanks are out to England for sharing their National Treasure. Nobody Rocks Like the English.

You are of course completely dismissing the Germans with Milli Vanilli and Nena too. Who doesn't love "99 Luftballons"/99 Red Balloons"? Or the Austrians - Falco - "Rock Me Amadeus".

Hey! I LIKE 99 Luftbaloons. That was fun when we got to translate that in German class! 99 fighter pilots who think they are Captain Kirk! (IIRC, been too long)
The other one we did was "Codo"
Codo der dritte, stehe auf die Sterne mitte. Hasslich, Ich bin so hasslich, so grosslich hasslich, Ich bin den Hass
(hmm... I need to figure out how to do umlauts)

I loved that song!

Ah, Lt Cox.

It takes an Officer and a Gentlemen to show this NCO the error of his ways. I completely missed the opportunity to thank Europe for their contribution to rock and roll.

I will now amend my last statement of thanking the English for their contributions by lumping them with all of Europe and thanking the Euro's for their contributions to Rock and Roll. No one rocks like the Euro's.

Quick question. Should I exclude the French from my heartful thanks for Euro's contribution. Do they even know how to play guitars or are they still into synthesizers, Harpsichords and the Pan Flute?
