In recognition of much work and success with the CCC's Training Program, I hereby award Lt. Colonel Larry Davis the British Outstanding Service Medal. Even though Larry's efforts benefit the entire club, he's a British member deserving of this award, and so is given the British version. Many thanks Larry for a bang up job, and congratulations...good form Sir!

(sorry, had to "yank" the ribbon graphic I had here, Yahoo has not been kind lately)

[:I] Thank you. Coming from such lights as you, I am truely honored. (Lights in this context is an 18th century term used as a complimentary description of learned and discerning individuals whose opinions are worthy of respect.) Far be it from me to argue with one
such as you who merit the high approbations and accolades of those of my station lesser than you. - I really try, perhaps too hard some might say, to adequately convey a true and proper sense of 18th century sychophantry in the proper verbose and cowtowing form of phraseology used by those of my lower but ascribing class towards my betters as a means of attaining a higher station be it ever so humble in comparison to the vast importance and brilliance of those above me, than I now have or deserve.

And I thought <b>I</b> was effusive and bombastic.

Congratulations Larry! It is a well deserved honour. The CCC training department is one of the best I have seen in the clubs.

In best 18th century tradition, can we officially call the training center <font size="2"><font color="red">Fort Davis</font id="red"></font id="size2">?

Opposed? Fine.

All those in favor?

<font size="3"><font color="yellow">Aye!</font id="yellow"></font id="size3">
