John Tiller will soon be releasing a game on the Seven Years War!!!

Ok - now that I have your attention disregard the above.

I have put up two items in the past that I want to keep you posted about and one new item based on a new map that Al Amos assembled.

1. Saratoga Challenge - Tom Gremmels and co. signed up for this. I have not forgotten about you guys and will still be working on this project. Give me til March to get something together please.

2. French and Prussian (Hessians too) - I received an email from a friend saying that I should not have the Prussian recruiting militia so I will change my campaign accordingly. This is an In Progress project.

3. NEW - I have assembled a new scenario based on Al Amos' new map for 1812 using his 1814 OB. It features an amphibous landing, sea battle and Indian raid (with counter Indian attack by hostile tribes - its and Indian thing!) on a convoy of supply wagons. Wagons do count for VPs in this one. Should be fun. I am playing it solo Hotseat at the moment ironing out the bugs and checking to make sure that my release times allow the Americans to put up a suitable response to the British combined naval landing and overland attack. See Al's pack on Rich's SDC for more details on the pack. I add in a PDT file of my own (10 min turns). I will upload the entire set of 2 files to Rich's site where he will post it under Al's pack for quick association. Sean Coffey and I will playtest the battle after I have had my chance to work out the kinks. Basically the Right Wing (most of it) lands on the sea coast in a disrupted state, shakes out the seaweed and moves inland to take out a fort and/or attack the main American force which is sleeping in fields (basically one division of Americans). The Buffalo Garrison just happened to be doing manuevers when the British landed and are active on turn 3 but must march a long ways to get to the lines. I also have a House Rule in the scenario stating the hex that they should march towards - after that time they run into officers who inform them of the British advance and may move freely.
I am really interested to see how the sea battle comes out. More on this project later.
