Gentlemen, I have the pleasure to report that the British forces - under the command of a certain Lt. Col. Washington, of all people! - have been victorious in a middle-of-nowhere brawl in the woods. The vanquished foe, led by a wayward colonial named Col. Amos, was composed of despicable Frog mercenaries, while a band of loyal Indians fought on the side of faith, progress, and justice. All confusion, you see ... F&I really turns your mind upside down. [:D]

30 major victories, 2 minor victories, 4 minor defeats, 11 major defeats.

Yeah, I am sure it must be the game. [:D]

Yes, well the good Colonel Washington misunderstood our presence. We were there to re-afirm the peace. Suddenly in the middle of my morning crossiant musket balls come flying by. We scattered.

Poor Ensign Jumonville, cut off and surrounded laid down his arms to be hacked to pieces by those savages with Msr. Washington!! [}:)]

All in all a fun game of cat-n-mouse. I had Dierk looking everywhere for his victory, such a merry chase. hehehe....

Now to game two of our campaign!!!

Vive Les Français!

Al - of course the French lost - they were not commanded by a Frenchman!

Dierk - put up your dukes and lets get in a game! Got my copy today and am feeling frisky for a canoe ride.

Perhaps, Bill, but we did manage to get Colonel Washington to cry uncle in the second game. On to the third!
