Sirs, I have a spot on my dance card free. Is there any one out there Brit [}:)] Frenchman [B)] or Indian [:0] That would like to face my Celts on this field? I got the download from the design center and I beleive it is for the F&I engine. Come on, it will be tilted against my Clansmen. Do not let the sound of the pipes scare you. Howbout some of you traderous Scotsmen out there. The ones that sided with that Fat upstart German guy. Lets see if Prince Charlie can regain the crown for its rightfull family, the Stuarts [;)]
Alba Go Bragh !

Are McDonald of the Royal Highland Emigrants, and McGillivray of the Provincials "Traderous" enough for you ? If you have a match with Ken already, find a fellow Colonial and take us on in a multi-player game. We are thinking Eutaw Springs or other similarly situated game with lots of British Provincials.

Purely as a sop to my ego (since I created the scenario) will you mighty Myrmidons keep me apprised of the battle? Which variant? How it went? Who won? Any comments? I have to fix the Brit gunners' morale (shame on my sloth and oversight) but otherwise it is good to go. Thanks in advance for your interest in this scenario.

Oh, BTW, I hope the Stuarts regain the throne.

Jack, we are fighting the historical version right now. Thanks for the work, I played the AIA and found it interesting. I have always liked the last rising history sad it is though :-( I will try and keep the progress posted here. Now Allen, let this battle go for a bit and I will see if I can get one of my regimental commanders to battle you and Ken after this match.

The old McDonald cheiften looks across the moor and sees the dreaded Campbells. "Men there stands the Campbells for King George the upstart, here we stand for King James the rightfull King. We not only fight for our King but we also fight for our right as Highlanders against our heraditery enemy the Campbells. Long live King James and the Clan McDonald CHARGE"!
With that Lord George Murray sends the Clans across the moor in a final last charge.

The lines meet below the small rise. The Highlanders drive back several English regiments. The McDonalds on the right come to grips with the enemy intent on driving them from the field. On the right Lord George Murray leads his men from the front.

"Here they come boys!" the Duke of Cumberland bellows as the Highland heathens advance. [:o)] Loyalists of the Crown deploy on the crests and unleash a murderous volley. Will the Clan lines reel?

Sire, we have had 5 clan regiments reel, but Lord Murray is there to ralley them. As for the rest they continue the advance and have made it up on the small crest in places. The English seem to have bent both their flanks back in anticipation of our movement. "Sir, the battle cry will be Alba Go Bragh!" "We win or die on this field, the future of Scotland depends on the true and loyal clans that fight here to day." LONG LIVE KING JAMES, THE TRUE KING!" With that the prince rides forward under the guns of the English and their traderous Scots.

The Loyalist's are still holding in the center .. we're
now toe-to-toe. Our flanks have " swung like a door "
into the extreme flanks of the Clansmen ..

Sire, the English have tried to flank us, and have sent their cavalry into our right rear. Sire our men have gained some ground along the whole line. I think another big push and they may crack the English in several places. I fear though that we have taken a good pounding from their guns and musket fire. "Sir, place men gaurding our flanks and keep an eye on their cavalry. Order or boys to push hard and fast." The Highlanders have made some inroads into the English line, can they do it?
