Reposing especial Trust and Confidence in your courage, loyalty, and good conduct, by virtue of the Power and Authority to me given and granted by His Majesty's Commission I do hereby constitute and appoint you to be <font color="yellow"><font color="yellow"><b>Kommandeur des Hessischen Kontingents, British Armies in America</b></font id="yellow"></font id="yellow">, during pleasure, You are therefore to take the said Kontingent into your care and charge and to duly exercise as well the Officers as men thereof in arms, and to use your utmost endeavours in pursuance of the trust in you reposed, to keep them in good order and discipline; and I do hereby command them to obey you as their Commander. And you are to observe and follow such orders and instructions as you shall from time to time receive from Myself Your Commander-in-Chief or any other your Superior Officer according to the Laws and Regulations already made or what shall be made for the British Armies in America.

It will be a great honor to do so. I will also take great pleasure in those few extra schillings that will be jingling in my money sack (you know us Hessians - For Honor, for King, and most importantly, for money!! [:D])

And now for some subtleties in the tongue your contingent probably uses for giving orders ... German: for some reason, our substantives get declined when being put in a different case, so while the first case is <i>Das Hessische Kontingent</i>, in the genitive its <i>des Hessischen Kontingents</i>, thus "Kommandeur des Hessischen Kontingents". Just my nitpicking German perfectionism. [8)]

And there's some as criticise my language and accent! Rem acu tetigisti, I'd say.
