I was at a living history event today and while visiting the sutlers came across a book Standards and Colors of the American Revolution. There are many descriptions, drawings and color plates. Witness the colors of the Second Pennsylvania Battalion.

If anyone (including Brits & Frenchies) wants some graphics for their webpages, I'd be more than happy look them up, scan and send the file, just let me know. Sorry Injuns, no war paint is shown.

No kidding Ernie, and a great find, Mike. If you don't mind, think you could pass along the good old 19th Foot?

Rich,

Ernie posted 19 foots for you. Just guessing but they're probably old, too. [:)]

I see. It was the [8] at the end that threw me.

Here is one site that can be of use. Since the 19th was a green faced regiment, you could use the generic green flag and change the roman numeral. This the site where I found the flag for the 64th.

This second site has an example of each regimental color.
