I have used the e-mail platform twice to reply to Bill Peters replying to my Challenges and of course over time others, I am wondering if he is getting my messages that I am sending him, and if the e-mail service of the CCC is working. Here is a perfect example:

I post a challenge for a battle you choose the field of battle and your choice of rules.

He reply's on the board that he is going to send over a courier tonight.

So then I hit Bill's name and a e-mail dialog box pops up and I send him an e-mail.

He never respons.

Then I post a new challeng GROG GROG GROG

The same thing happens all over again, Bill if you don't want to fight just don't respond to my challenges, and if you REALLY want to fight but just can't at the present moment that's fine just be nice enough to reply to my e-mails, so I at least know you got them.

Thank you[?][?][?][?][?][?][?][?][?][?][?][?][?][?][?]

I sent you an email in the same manner to test the system out.

I think it does work, though.

Perhaps his email addr is wrong in his profile???

Ok, then there is something wrong with the FORUM email.
I'll see what I can do.

I sent you a NORMAL email as a test.

Here is the catch:

If you change email addresses you can not update your address in the system.

I have the same problem (though now I regularly check the address used here.)

That's because the address is used to verify registration.

I do think though that there must be a proper way to change it; afterall, sometimes addresses are put out of use and I know for a fact that I didn't even have the address I am now using with this board when I first registered for it.

OK I played around with it a bit; it can be done but it needs a little help from an administrator. [:)]

Philip - I never got your emails. Have had quite a busy weekend and thus just saw this thread.

Try sending email to me again to billpete@socal.rr.com

Dont use the forum method. Also send the message to panzerbushjr@yahoo.com so that I know you sent the message. Thus if it doesnt make it to one it might make it to the other.

And we will use whichever email account that works for you.

How does that sound?
