On behalf of the Continental Congress and our Commander in Chief, Lt. Col. O'Connor, I am pleased to announce the following promotions:

Thomas Herman, 5th Regiment, 2nd Brigade, Eastern Department, to Sergeant
Levi Neal, 1st Delaware Regiment, Northern Department, to Corporal
Gary McClellan, 12th Virginia Light Dragoons, Northern Department Commander, to Major
Steve Davenport, 36th US Infantry, 1812, to Sergeant
Tony Malone, Malone's Celtic Light Infantry, to Lieutenant

Major McClellan and Lieutenant Malone were both mentioned by Lt. Col. O'Connor for the number of games completed. Very nice work both.

Congratulations all, the gap closes.

Lt. Colonel Mike Cox

Dierk,
Heh, that would be nice, but I rather expect I'm gonna have to slow down and take a breath. I would kinda like to hit Lt Col by the end of Oct, but that's being pushy *L*

Belly up to the bar boys! Americans! Native Americans! British! Hessians alike, this rounds on me!

First of all, Congratulations to all of you. Tony, the officers unforms did not change much from rank to rank, so you should not have to make any alterations or have new ones made. As a matter of fact when it comes to American officers, the only thing they did was provide themselves with a very very tiny colored feather to hang off the front of their blanket... (being officers, they they took to heart their duty to protect their privates.) <img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>
