Good morning Sirs. One question: is it possible to play a multiplayer game (2vs2) with one external player (he plays in INWC)?

I think it is not a problem. The game will be considered as 2 vs 1 multiplayer fight and "external" player will not get any points for the game.

Really Jeka, I'm not sure.
May be the best is to consult John and the other Cabinet members in this point.

Its always been the policy that all players be members of the NWC if points are to be awarded at all.

However, that doesn't prevent you guys from simply playing the game with no points awarded...

Or, the odd player out could join the NWC...not like it costs anything!

The external player will still get points from the INWC for playing the multi-player with none INWC members.

I agree. But it's only my personal point of view.

I have registered INWC games here and we just left off all non NWC members from the form and it has been fine. Most of the players were NWC memebrs as well except for one or two.

But Glyn is correct in regards to our policy at the INWC.

I have been in more than one NWC game when I was not a member. The guys invited me in and it was ok with the Cabinet in this and other clubs. The members got their points and noone was harmed or injured by it.

Dont complicate this. Its just a club. Lets not add in more rules where they dont need to exist.

Yes, I would agree if one member played three non-members that this is an issue. But in most cases it was just one guy that was a non-member in the games I was in.

I do remember club games in other clubs where we challenged another group (the Blitz vs. PCC) to a match. And they kicked our butts too!

2 or 3 years back we all had a Napoleonic Toruney between us at the NWC, us at the INWC, Campaigns-France and the Blitz....I think Campaigns-France won it, but it was a lot of fun. I'd like to try some Inter-Club Tourney's this summer if we can. It's always a great way to get to know people as we all have at least the same hobby in common...lol. [:)]

if the players at the INWC are involved in an inter club tourney like Scott mentioned, no problem.

If this is simply an single game and he is not a NWC Member, sorry but no points awarded.

ask him to join the NWC....

there are several INWC members already here no doubt.

we don't bite [:D]

If we get this going I claim to get to play with Herr Windbagfrankfurter!

Maybe I can finally shop him what a proper uniform is!

The ones I see his guys in are all black with red polka-dots (of course they are always lieing down at the time - obviously not in very good shape, and show no respect for their superiors!!) And the ones without the red polka-dots always have their arms up - the smell of a regiment of Prussian Militia with their arms up caused the Guards shakos to catch fire and a few 6 pounders to melt! Worse than marching behind one of the animal husbandry support Corps.

Got to go

Official answer from what John said was No, you cant ask a non-member into a club game and then get points for it.

As I stated to the prior:

Keep in mind we are talking about MP MULTIPLAYER games not single player games. Single players game are certainly a no can do...but...as for MP games:

I have registered MP games in which not all players were apart of the NWC and we just didn't add that player(s) that weren't when we registered the game. So all members on the form were members. It's not like lopsided MP games are not registered here...they certainly are. You only hurt the members here if you don't allow it.

Besides, how would you enforce it? People can simply just leave the person off and make no mention of them.
