I dont care if I had the time I still would devote it to something else.

If you feel that much about it Rich then go for it but I would prefer to get newer titles out for the guys to play. Some of them are dying for 1813, 1807, 1805, Peninsular War, etc.

If I go back and do this for all of my games or even the new ones it just takes alot of time. Its bad enough dividing up the cav into squadrons.

You sound like you want to champion the cause so go for it.

Bill,

At this point it's just an idea to see if players are interested. But it doesn't look like many people are that keen on it.

Obviously any further company scale scenarios I create will use gun sections, but - from the response here - it doesn't seem worthwhile putting together variant versions of standard battalion scale scenarios with gun sections.

Anyway, it's better to find this out in advance, rather than spend time making variant scenarios and then find out that nobody's interested in them.

I heartily agree. I had enought negative feedback on the squadron concept at first. Cavalry block up the road now enough as it is without adding in the gun sections too.

I do plan on putting out an OB for Jena that will have the cavalry regiments combined in the future. The stock scenarios will be redone to allow for regiments rather than squadrons.
